Incorporating the bouquet and garter toss into the reception is becoming less common, and if either happens at all, you’re more likely to see the bouquet toss alone. So make this portion of the wedding celebration your own, and decide whether you want to stick to both parts, just one, or none at all!
If you decide to do the bouquet and/or garter toss, this is the perfect time in the reception to blend sexy with goofy. For the bouquet toss, you can focus on fun songs that have to do with being a single lady, female empowerment, or just how fun it is to be a woman. Think, “Single Ladies,” “Man I Feel Like a Woman,” and “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.”
For the garter toss, you can focus on songs that have hidden meanings, talk about being sexy, or imply a double entendre. Think, “Another One Bites the Dust,” and “Don’t Stop ‘til You Get Enough.” The goal here is to make it fun, so feel free to get creative!
